I help non-writers write generous books.
Here's what that means.

No matter who you are, it's hard to write a book.

Writing a book that changes how people think and act is even harder.

Managing all of that when you can't—or don't want to—disappear into a writing cave until you emerge as a Proper Writer decades later? Yeah, no thanks.

Your larger work is too important to lose sight of, even if a book could help further it. â€‹

Purpose First, Writer Second

Few of my clients are writers first. They are coaches, consultants, entrepreneurs, and engineers.

In other words, people who constantly have to think creatively to solve complex problems, push boundaries, and deliver innovative results. They have developed one-of-a-kind perspectives and are masters of their craft.

Masters are exactly who we need to hear from in book-length works. But not all masters are writers, which means actually writing that book can feel like an impossible lift.

And while you could hire a service to do the writing for you, not all non-writers can or should outsource their project to a ghostwriter.

In fact, you might spend a ton of time and money with a ghost, or a lot of marketing lift creating and selling AI-generated books, before realizing none of that has scratched the itch that pulled you toward a book in the first place.

You can't shortcut this shit.

You can't cut corners on the process without also cutting corners on the content—and I know you aren't willing to do that.

But as long as you're properly supported, you can step into the writing process with all of your non-writing brilliance, flows, and focus.

I help non-writers write, because it's the most powerful way to translate your complex, deeply personal knowledge into a form that resonates with the people who need to hear it.

You might be a non-writer if...

  • Your expertise lies in solving complex problems, not writing them down.

  • You have powerful ideas but struggle to put them into words.

  • You're a master in your field but feel lost when faced with a blank page.

  • Your insights are game-changing, but you're not sure how to share them in a book.

  • You almost wish someone else would write the book you're thinking of, because the message matters more to you than the medium.

  • Your non-writing life holds just as much, if not more, importance as your writing life—and the two often feel at odds.

book development partnerships

I'm a creative problem-solver too, and I've directed my nonlinear career path toward understanding exactly how to help non-writers write.

I know how to unlock the intricacies of your ideas and transform them into a cohesive narrative. â€‹And nine times out of ten, your Big Idea is just under the surface of what you're already doing in the world.

In some of those cases, acknowledging that is enough—you don't even need a book.

But when a book just won't leave you alone, I draw on innovative approaches in storytelling and decades of experience in interview-based ghostwriting to help you find your flow as you articulate your message.

And I do it all while breaking the book-writing process down into manageable steps that align with your goals, expertise, and life as a non-writer.

We'll find a way for you to work out your ideas on the page, and I'll meet you in the mess of it until it's ready to be shared.

Here's how.

Start with a Clear Direction

Without a clear direction, non-writers can spend years lost in their book projects and risk losing power along the way. Clear Direction sessions are focused, 90-minute calls designed to bring your idea into focus in one go.

Quick professional insight and actionable next steps will keep you from spinning out, no matter where those steps are leading you.

Before I started working with Brannan, I was stuck figuring out how to organize my book and make sense of all the ideas for each chapter. It was like a big tangled mess in my head.

With Brannan's help, things got crystal clear. I found the main message for my book, decided what should stay in, and what should go. I also learned how to smoothly guide readers through each chapter's stories. Brannan has awesome writing prompts and asks just the right questions to fire up your book excitement. And when you hit that wall and feel like writing is impossible (that happened a lot), Brannan’s got  the magic touch to get you back on track.

Working with her, I always felt understood, supported, and ready to write with confidence. She has not only expert knowledge to help you write your book, but a great personality - it felt like meeting your best friend who happens to know just what to say make book writing fun. I’ll definitely be back for my next projects.

If there's a story inside you itching to get out onto paper, don't think twice—get Brannan on your side!

a bit more about me

I've been in the non-fiction content world since before Amazon changed the game. We're talking websites, social, eBooks, Big Idea, memoir, editing, proofreading, ghostwriting, you name it.

Today, I call myself a book development partner, because my work with you is so much more than coaching and editing alone.

Over the last ten years in particular, I've helped hundreds of clients turn the hidden potential of their perspective into finished books that influence the way their people see the world.

When you're ready, I'd love to partner with you too.
