Before you choose another word:

Psssst. Hey, you. Yes, you. The one looking at these answers and wishing there were more. It's okay.

Books can do lots of things, but they don't have to do everything all at once.

Right now, just name the thing this book needs to do MOST.

And when all else fails, trust your "I don't know" to create its own form of clarity.

Do you know what kind of book you're actually writing?

My name's Brannan (you can call me B). Over almost twenty years in the content creation world, I’ve helped more than fifty authors take their books from fledgling idea to finished manuscript, and I've shaped hundreds more through various levels of editing, ghostwriting, and structural support.

I’ve built outlines that hold up under the eyes of agents, editors, readers, and most importantly, the authors themselves.

I’ve also seen books in their messiest forms. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.

One thing I've learned more than anything else? If your book and work are out of alignment, no amount of motivation, step-by-step strategies, or done-for-you services will produce the book you’re meant to write, in the way you need to write it.

When you're moving in a Clear Direction, you can:

  • Confidently choose the right form, scope, and structure for your book

  • Protect your energy from detours and false starts (on the page and off)

  • Write a book that naturally amplifies your work instead of distracting from it
